Continuing our series on holistic health and wellness for part 3 we will be looking at one of the newest product additions to Brilliant Bodywork, the LightStim LED Device. What is it?
The LightStim for pain device is an LED Light Therapy device that is a safe and natural way to soothe pain while easing and reducing inflammation in the body. This device not only treats pain and inflammation it also helps to accelerate the bodies own natural healing processes. What it does?
The LightStim pain device emits light energy that reduces inflammation and increases circulation. How it works?
The LightStim uses LED technology originally designed by NASA to treat wounds in space. LightStim has taken this LED technology and advanced it. Using patented LightStim Multiwave Technology the LightStim device simultaneously emits multiple wavelengths (colors) of lighT.. The wavelengths work together to increase blood circulation and reduce inflammation. The wavelengths of light used for the LightStim pain device are Infrared (not visible to the human eye), deep red, light red, and deep infrared (not visible to the human eye). The LightStim for pain has 72 LED's of Light Red, Dark Red, Infrared, and Depp Infrared. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, which is a tiny computer chip encased in glass. Each LED wavelength, color of light) provides it's own unique and different therapeutic benefits. For example the Infrared wavelength is well known for soothing muscle pain and tension while reducing inflammation. LED's are non-invasive, painless, and require no recovery time. The LightStim has over 200 medical and university studies showing no negative side effects from the treatment. The light is good for all skin types and tones.

LightStim Options
Here at Brilliant Bodywork we have two options available for our clients with the LightStim pain device. We have a larger LightStim pain device that can be incorporated into spa services, for example during massage we can use the larger device to treat pain and inflammation in a specific area of the body while the massage therapist works on another part of the body and then switch. Also, we can incorporate the larger device into our infra-slim wrap session. The infra-slim wrap uses infrared heat and air pressure to detoxify the body and soothe muscle soreness and tension. We can use the larger device over the face and head while the body is wrapped in the infra-slim.
The other option we have is for our clients to purchase the at home device. We offer the LightStim pain in a convenient belt form. This is a nice option compared to the handheld because with the belt you can treat your pain hands free. You just attach the belt and tighten it to fit whichever area you need pain relief focused on. The great things about purchasing the LightStim for pain through Brilliant Bodywork is that the LightStim company has given us the go ahead to offer a 7 year warranty on all LightStim devices bought through us. This is the longest warranty they offer, even if you were to go on the LightStim website and purchase the device you would get a 6 year warranty. If you were to purchase the LightStim off of a 3rd party website such as Ebay the company offers NO warranty.
