Brilliant Bodywork began in 2008 when the owner Stephanie Andresen-Stevens and her then co-owner opened up a small spa in Onalaska, WI in the La Crosse Area Builders Association Building. Stephanie had been working for a big corporate business locally but felt something was lacking. She felt that the corporate position she had was impersonal and that she was just another number marching along, easily replaceable. So instead of continuing in an unfulfilling corporate position Stephanie went back to school and got her certification as an Aesthetician and Laser Technician. After the first year in business her co-owner decided to move onto other ventures and left Stephanie the  proprietor of the spa. She had help from her husband and co-owner Adam Stevens. Over time she grew a loyal customer base and gained a positive reputation in the community for being very skilled and knowledgeable at what she does. As the business continued to expand and gain new clients the team outgrew the original business location. About three years ago between 2012-2013 Brilliant Bodywork moved to its current location at 314 Main Street Onalaska, WI 54650.  Also a little over a year and a half ago Adam came on full time to help manage and run the business. Adam had a similar experience with working for a corporation and he and Stephanie decided they wanted to offer a better experience for their employees as well as their clients, by creating a healthy work-environment and soothing spa atmosphere. All their hard work and dedication paid off, Brilliant Bodywork was voted best spa in the La Crosse area! Stephanie, Adam and the team at Brilliant Bodywork continue to learn new things and update education to keep current on industry trends, they’ve added a boutique and strive each day to make clients experiences at the spa one of a kind.
