Today, however, we are going to look at what sets Brilliant Bodywork apart from others when it comes to waxing services. Let's look at what a typical waxing service from Brilliant Bodywork entails and you will see why we truly are the best at what we do.
1. All of our services are performed by qualified, licensed professionals and specialists. Our providers also participate regularly in continuing education to keep them on top of the latest developments and things to know in our industry. This means that you as the client are being taken care of by knowledgeable staff who is current on industry standards and trends.
2. Having an educated and knowledgeable staff means that you will also be provided with on-going education about pre-wax and post-wax care, what you can do at home, and any products that can benefit you based on your unique needs. Also your service provider will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you have regarding the waxing process. We know for those who may be getting waxing done for the first time that it can be a little intimidating, our staff go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and help to soothe any pre-wax jitters. We strive to gain your confidence in our skills and abilities.\
3. Being a licensed spa facility means that Brilliant Bodywork meets the regulations and guidelines set forth by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. What this means for you as a client is a clean, sanitary spa environment and services. For waxing, this means you are treated with disposable materials like the sticks used to apply the wax and the strips used to pull the hot wax. Using disposable tools ensures that they are sanitary. Also for waxing we never double dip. This means that we do not dip the stick in the wax, apply the wax on your skin and then use the same stick dipped in wax again. We use one stick per application. We pride ourselves on not only meeting but exceeding the standards for sanitation and cleanliness in our spa, and we think you as the client will see and notice the difference.
4. When we determine pricing for our waxing services it is a set price. We do not charge by amount of hair or anything else. We utilize a set price for each waxing service we offer. For example a half leg wax is $35.00 whether or not you have a few sparse hairs or a leg covered in hair it is the same price either way.
5. We use 2 different types of wax at our spa, a traditional soft wax and a hard wax. The hard wax is used for more sensitive areas of the body. The hard wax hardens while on the skin and then is lifted from the skin creating a less painful removal. The more traditional soft wax is used for larger body areas such as legs, chest, back and others. This wax does not harden and is covered with a cloth strip that is then pulled lifting the hair and wax. Offering the 2 wax types allows us to better cater to you, the client by being able to offer the best wax for the area.
